About the Summit

The Catawba-Wateree region stands at a pivotal moment. With the Integrated Water Resources Plan (IWRP) near complete, our collective challenge is clear: move from recommendations to action.

The 2026 Water for All Summit brings together leaders, experts, and community partners from across North and South Carolina for a full day dedicated to implementing the IWRP, strengthening Basin-wide collaboration, and charting a shared path toward long-term water resilience.

This year’s event features a new, more interactive format designed to meet people where they are and help each attendee identify their unique role in advancing Basin priorities.

Who Should Attend

  • Mayors, councilmembers, county officials, and policymakers
  • Utility directors, engineers, and water system managers
  • Environmental nonprofits, watershed groups, and community organizations
  • Economic development leaders, industry representatives, and sustainability managers
  • University students and emerging professionals interested in water resources
  • Anyone invested in the long-term resilience of the Catawba-Wateree Basin

Why Attend

  • Be informed: Learn how the IWRP recommendations relate to your community, agency, or organization.
  • Be inspired: Hear from leaders across the Basin and beyond who are already moving from planning to action.
  • Be connected: Build relationships with peers who share your commitment to water resilience.
  • Be part of the solution: Contribute directly to shaping the Basin’s next steps toward a resilient and equitable water future.
